Originally from North London, I studied at Harrow College of Art and then moved to Brighton to take my degree in Fine Art Painting at Brighton University. Following that I completed a postgraduate course in teaching art and worked as a secondary school teacher.

After nearly forty years in Brighton it was time to go on another adventure, moving to our current home in the Wye Valley at Symonds Yat two years ago. This is where I gain inspiration from the beautiful landscape that forms the core of my work.

I sell my work through our gallery in our store Ross on Wye, Yat Pottery. Alongside this, I teach people of all art abilities in watercolour, oil, acrylic and drawing in different materials. This allows me to share my skills and bring the joy of art to others who were told that they weren’t creative.
